Here’s a rare live performance of “Digital” form the ’80′s alt. rockers New Oder in HD.
New Order formed in the early 80′s from the ashes of the underground favorite Joy Division. New Order was known for the post-punk fusion with electronic music. The 1983 release of “Blue Monday” saw them completly embrace electronic dance music. ” Blue Monday” still stands as the all time best selling 12″ (or dance mix) independent single of all time in the UK.
New Order’s fusion of rock and dance music laid the ground work for bands today.
