Live in high definition from The Windjammer on the Isle Of Palms, South Carolinia is Devon Allman’s Honeytribe performing a jam of “Midnight Rider”. This is a low grade HD video (very unproduced and may be fan shot), but it does look good and its a great performance by the son of Gregg Allman (of the Allman Brothers) and his band.
It is striking to me that Devon may be a combination of Gregg Allman with is bluesy voice and Duane Allman with his fiery licks on the guitar. It is rare that the children of famous musicians go on to perform and play with same credibility. Devon Allman may be the exception. We will see how he progresses in the future.
