One of the most successful comedy acts to find its way out of the comedy clubs in recent years and into the concert halls.Tenacious D is Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Jack Black well known as a comedic actor and unlikely leading man has pulled Tenacious D along with him in his Hollywood success. Concidered “mock rock,” their music appeals to fans of heavy metal and men of college age.
Tenacious D was the subject of the movie, “The Pick of Destiny” which was a box office bomb but was pushed to cult status once released on DVD. Rock musicians associated with Tenacious D are Ronnie James Dio and David Grohl of the Foo Fighters.
