Here as a 720p HD music video is Metallica’s “One.” Metallica had conquered meteldom with their three previous albums before And Justice For All. Little did they know they would begin making inroads into mainstream with “One”. This was their first video and the first time they entered into the top 40 singles charts. The power of Metallica had been released onto the mainstream where they would stay fully embraced for years to come.
The theme for “One” was inspired by the novel Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trunbo. Metallica bought the rights to the 1979 film for usage in the video. Concidered one of the greatest videos ever made, Metallica also one their first Grammy for Best Heavy Metal Performance for this song.
