Iron Maiden brought New Wave of British Heavy Metal to the world with “Wasted Years” in 1986. The video which received heavy air play on MTV is presented here in HD. On the album, Somewhere in Time, Iron Maiden used synthesizers to create texture and ambiance while still letting their pioneering heavy metal sound come through.
Some consider Somewhere in Time the last great album that Iron Maiden recorded. While Somewhere in Time is one of my favorite Maiden albums and “Wasted Years” is a great song, I think Eddie and crew produced other compelling albums in later years. Recently, Iron Maiden have recaptured the popularity of their early years and have become one of heavy metals most enduring bands for the generations.

I love that song too. Yah its old but still it has an impact, every time i hear that song it reminds me of something special.
