Anvil performing “Metal on Metal” at City Cinemas Village East, after a showing of “Anvil: The Story of Anvil”.
Anvil is a heavy metal band that has struggled for many many years for their dream of being rock stars. In the 80’s they almost succeeded. They toured the world with bands like Scorpions and Motley Crue. Those bands went on to conquer the world of rock while Anvil was never able to pull off such a feat. Anvil are the subject of the documentary Anvil: The Story of Anvil which tells their tale of rock n roll heartbreak.
With the release of the movie, Anvil is finding their fame and have become known to heavy metal fans all over the world. They will be opening for AC/DC on dates of their summer tour.
